This
candidate will be responsible for ensuring the supply of high quality
products to our customers, while maintaining low internal
non-conformances and low customer returns.
Duties: • Manage quality engineers and quality inspectors • Manages the ISO 9001 Program and maintain the quality manual, and controlled documents log • Lead management review meetings • Will interact with all departmental managers, supervisors and employees to clearly communicate quality objectives and goals • Be proactive in resolving customer complaints and quality issues • Perform internal audits and implement corrective actions and maintain calibration system • Responsible for creating and monitoring inspection plans • Responsible for maintaining product traceability and customer certifications • Provide technical support for inspectors, machine operators, assembly, and the shipping department. • Develop and maintain vendor quality rating system and conduct vendor audits as • required • Assist in the development of training plans and work instructions
Requirements: BS
degree in Quality Engineering or related field is preferred. Must have
at least 5 years experience in a metal removing manufacturing
environment, with at least 5 years experience managing quality
inspectors or technicians. Must possess superior knowledge of continuous
improvement processes and the use of precision measuring instruments,
and have strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication
skills.
