Warranty Engineer
Description
As the Warranty
Engineer you will utilize your
experience and talents to coordinate, monitor, perform, and report on the
activities required to resolve warranty issues from conception to completion,
and assists in warranty claims investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation
of countermeasures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verifies and analyzes warranty
claims via customer warranty systems, and coordinates the testing and
analysis of defective products returned .
- Participate in cross-functional
teams to investigate and address warranty claims issues
- Reviews the reports on the
investigation and analysis of warranty claims issues and proposed
countermeasures prior to submitting them to management and/or the customer
- Conducts regular meetings to
report the status of warranty claims issues with statistical analysis of
failures, and with internal team members to track the timely
implementation of required countermeasures
- Develops and maintains
relationship with customers to understand their warranty programs
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering, Industrial Technology or a technical related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in
Warranty Engineering
- (Experience with an automotive
parts manufacturer and/or a JIT manufacturer is preferred)
