Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

As the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, you will utilize your experience and talents to provide support for new launch development and day-to-day technical issues for the assembly process in the plant with a focus on scrap and downtime reduction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Insures initial product designs are compatible with the company manufacturing capabilities and standards
  • Provide guidance to department personnel in the detailed development of all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including the Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow Chart, and Process Design Sheet
  • Assist in implementation of Value Analysis and Standard Parts Time in new product design
  • Verify that detailed engineering micro-schedules are in place to ensure that all engineering controlled program milestones are completed on time
  • Coordinate the relationship between Tool, Equipment, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure the procurement and on-time delivery of all of the necessary tooling and equipment
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline (MS in Engineering preferred)

5 to 8 years of related manufacturing experience
