SUMMARY

Basic skill sets must include the ability to read electrical line drawings, basic understanding of PLC programs, vacuum systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, coupled with having above average trouble shooting skills.  Our product systems range in working voltages from low 24 volts to voltages up to 600 volts.  Previous experience in vacuum and or atmosphere equipment line is preferred.  Closely related equipment requiring the same fundamental skill sets will be considered.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but not limited to the following.  Other duties maybe assigned:

Test and certify all electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments/ equipment for conformance to established standards.

Set-up, debugs, and load parameters for electronic instruments for production equipment as well as ensures that incoming electrical control panels conform to engineering documentation.

Plans sequence of testing and parameter setting procedures for instruments and equipment.

Set-up standard and special purpose equipment to test, evaluate, calibrate and certify instruments and test equipment.

Provide information to panel builders from engineering to solve panel related assembly or fabrication problems.

Create a traceable certification trail for all measurement equipment used in production or test of customer equipment.

Verification of prints to job as built.

Establish formulas to solve problems in measurements.

Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment.

Additional requirements for component inspection, in-process work inspection, knowledge of weld inspection, adherence to dimensional tolerances are desired.
