Lead Tooling Engineer

Lead Tooling Engineer – Design Feasibility, you will utilize your experience and talents to manage “Tool Feasibility” issues for the part and injection mold, and work with the project team to ensure that the injection molds are constructed to company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage overall Tool Feasibility of all of the new parts coming out of design
  • Attend Design Review meetings to review product design for tool construction
  • Supply Program Management with tooling requirements for customer approval
  • Approve tool designs including preliminary, intermediate, and final
  • Assure overall part feasibility for production purposes
Requirements

BS in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline, plus 6 to 8 years of related manufacturing experience; OR

Associate’s Degree in Tool/Die Technology, plus 8 to 10 years of related manufacturing experience; OR

Journeyman Tool/Die Maker, plus 6 to 8 years of related manufacturing experience
