Description
As the Equipment Engineer II you will utilize your experience and talents to
design, develop, and set-up equipment required to support production, and
provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing in order to
establish and maintain production processes.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
- Study product
design feasibility and provide feedback to project launch team
- Assist in
establishing process designs for new lamp manufacturing processes
- Review and
approve concept drawings for new equipment
- Develop
specifications for new equipment required for new product manufacturing
- Establish
recommendations for capital equipment budget requirements
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
in Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related discipline
- 2 to 4 years of
manufacturing experience
Experience in automotive parts manufacturing is preferred
Strong knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas:
- Mechanical,
pneumatic, and electrical aptitude
- Analytical and
problem solving skills
- Organizational
and planning skills
- Computer skills
in standard business software (including all MS Office programs)
(Knowledge or experience with CAD is preferred)
- Written and
verbal communications and presentation skills
- Interpersonal
skills —to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of
authority and maintain professional demeanor in stressful or sensitive
situations
